Red Snow Bird :)
Well I was on my deck today after the snow and noticed a red Cardinal on the ground eating seeds that the other birds had dropped from the feeder. Quickly grabbed my D300 and 70-300VR and took these shots:

Dave
After living in the Hudson River Valley for 30 years I can assure you he IS waiting for more seeds!
Nice shots, they ALMOST make me wish I was back there for a visit. It's going to be cold here today (only 60°F) but will get up to 80° for Christmas.
