Reworked Candids in Black and White
Well, I’m still trying to do some work on these photos. They were not done in RAW so some things are limited.
In this thread http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=114047 are the original pictures. Below are the reworked photos. I mostly brightened the faces and brought out the right eye on the second and toned down the hot spot on the white shirt. Which ones are working...if any?
Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

#1 - I think I prefer the original but not having the pre/post image side by side makes the compares somewhat hard.
#2 - I think you did a nice job of toning down the hot spots in the shoulders/shirt but I see a funky blurry cone starting at her left eye. It is almost like there is light coming out of her eye. I also really notice the white triangle just to the right of her left eye.
