    No paper weights.....simple staples.

    At first I tried with abut 12 sheets of paper and that was just too many, so came back to six.

    Basically (i'm not at home at the mo so can't upload a photo of the setup) you take all 6 sheets and sqaure them up so they are all flush, all sides, staple one short end, making sure the two staples are nearer the middle rather than the outer edge. This leaves you with one short and two long sides free.

    Now fan out the other short end so that the individual sheet ends are about 4-5 millimetres (1/4 inch) apart and once done, and lined up, staple them. Place on a black background that will allow some structure to the base of the paper, you don't won't it lying flat. I used my black leather couch cushion edges which are nice and round.

    Make sure you are careful not to damage the edges of the paper as it will show.

    Now with a suitable blue (or other colour) light position it to avail you the best effect. (you enhance it later in photoshop)

    Using a shallow dof (60mm roughly at f/2.8) and with the fanned end furtherest from the lens position the paper in such a way to get your desired effect. Set exposure comp to -2 and merrily shoot away. Obviously a tripod is a must.

    A gaussian blur layer at finish is essential.
