Got the Mrs to crack the nut on the count of 3... Took 14 attempts!

Nice picture for the method. Looks like a little more depth of field would help. It looks like it would be good for one of those motivational posters. DOn't know what the caption would be, but something about nuts in a wrench.

Oh my gosh, except that I can see it for myself in your image,
I would never have thought that much debris would fly around once the pressure breaks the shell look at all those fine particles besides the larger pieces.

Nothing beats fresh nuts out of the shell, especially Walnuts
