Causeway Christmas Fog

In between family events on Christmas Day, I drove along the causeway that goes through Mobile Bay and snapped some pictures. It was a very foggy day, but there were patches of sunlight that made for some interesting photos.

Beautiful shots! I really really really like the 4th image, the contrast between the crisp bird with it's crisp reflection against the fog-obscured horizon is really compelling.

The first, third and last were my favorites but I enjoyed them all. How nice to see a baldie too.

Nice set of images. Good mix of landscape, wildlife, and unique lighting opportunities. I've never seen the raptor in #11 and 12. Is that a Gene Simmons Hawk ?
