Local Pond in Winter - No Snow or Ice!

Here is what a San Antonio pond looks like on a typical winter day!
I can't decide if I like these or not. I did some PP to both, with a little different adjustment in each. I also have some HDR versions to post later. I'd love to get closer and try different angles, but the pond is fenced off and posted so I can't. It's just down the road from me, so I may try again with different lens and a tripod--I can access the view on the road shoulder, just can't get closer to the water.
Looking for some tough C&C.
