    Outstanding capture!

Although I'd probably re-caption it: "Imagine - You could be out taking photos like this instead of being stuck in your office" :D

Thanks every one...Probably will change the caption...or remove it completely.

BTW, this is right off my porch...living in a small town in the Kootenays does have benefits thumb.gif. Even though my shoulders ache from shoveling snow for the past week!

What size image do you print from? What size prints do you use for your posters? I've wanted to do some but haven't quite figured out the formula yet. I uploaded a couple large images to order at 20 x 30 but the printer's site said "too small resolution." I shoot Large and RAW so I was surprised.

    Any tips?

    Thanks,
    Lauren

I print at 300 dpi 24x30 on my Epson 7880. That is 9000 x 7200 pixels, I have had no problems with print quality at this size and 300dpi. 240 dpi would probably suffice.

Perhaps you are downsizing the resolution to 72dpi when you are enlarging the image? If you don't keep the dpi above 240 you will see serious image quality problems when you enlarge.

Nope, I always save/upload at 300 dpi. I'll try it with some other images and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for the info.
