    A good start - but lighting is always critical ... and difficult to get right :)

    Whilst this rig was designed for far greater mags (have seen (stacked) pics taken with it using a 40x microscope objective), I thought you might find the comments about actual pic taking procedures of interest.

    Good start :)
    Only suggestion is you might need to start playing with off camera flash if going to high magnifications.

    Yeah, I was experimenting with the off camera flash, I have an SB800 that seems to do well. I need another if i'm going to avoid shadows though
