My wife and I took our kids to ride their new bicycles yesterday since the weather finally cooperated a little. C&C welcome.

Looking at the background, it isn't really cycling season yet anyway:D I sure wish I could ride my bike right now....but I am in Michigan.

The pics are priceless. The emotion and excitement is shown clearly in each image.

Also, not to start debate here, but thanks for putting helmets on the kids.

Thanks Scott and Speedsk8r. We had a snow storm only a couple of days before and then had a 60+ degree day which melted most of the snow and my wife and I wanted to give them a chance to get out and enjoy their new toys. This parking lot was fairly level and is in a secluded area of a local Mariott that really isn't being used so it was perfect. They had a blast. As for the helmets, we personally do believe in them and in addition to that around here it's the law that all children wear them.

Thanks Virginia and NeilL. These were the first one's show with my new 24-105L. I did minimal PP, a touch of sharpening because I shoot RAW and a little saturation adjustment because it was overcast dulling the colors.

Thanks, RB. Nice glass! That's surprisingly narrow DOF for >f4 in the first shot. And the IQ, if it's the 5DII, beats anything I've seen from Nikon.

Thanks NeilL. It's actually my original 5D as I am still waiting the delivery of my new toy. The glass was racked to 105mm, set to F5 @ 1/400
