Trying out the the 200mm f2 with 1.7telecoverter not much difference in quality that I can see. On camera info shows up as 330mm lens @ f3.3 so with the 1.5 crop with D300 495mm. Just a tad slower focusing but faster then anything else I have.

This was interesting, a flock of Ibis flying along then one is making in flight adjustments did not notice it until PP never seen a bird do that before

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

That ibis is funny! rolleyes1.gif Way to pull that turkey out of the brush. You nailed the focus. While I would have liked to see more of the face of the hawk, the detail in those talons is cool!

Good set! for a moment I thought the two Ibis shots were one shot, with two formations! rolleyes1.gif

I am glad Chuckice decided to sell this lens, it is wonderfull also helps build upper body strength.
Thanks Again Charles. Happy New Year

I put a break between the ibis shots it did make it look like one.

That Hawk was total luck I got anything of him I was looking through the viewfinder at some ducks and when I looked up he was coming at me then flared when got him in view first shot was OOF second was the one posted next one was a butt shot. The detail came out so well except for the head and the BG was good. I really liked it.

Glad you're enjoying it! It's definitely not a lightweight. :D
