I captured a couple of interesting shots a few days ago in downtown St. Louis. Nothing great, but I did have some good light.

Adams School (est. 1899).

Orange Facade (ready to jump off of the rest of the boring building!)

Jeff your work is always amazing! I love #2! The first one the power lines kind of threw me off a little.

Yeah, I thought about trying to climb the pole and cut the lines, but I thought better of it. Thanks!

I like them both; your colors are great. I do think I like the second best just because of the oddity on the building. I think the sky really shows the structure well. Did you do this strictly in NX?

Both are nice captures Jeff. I like the overall composition of the second one...it provides depth of field and a feeling of movement as it trails off to the right.

Hi Jeff, I like both of these shots.
Too bad those power or phone lines were hanging right across the front of the building .....ohhhhh well.

HDR and buildings just soooooooooo go together clap.gif
Love the sky more on the second shot.

    Nicely done Jeff thumb.gif .... Skippy :D

Great work jeff I like them both however the power lines are bothersome. Don't you hate it when some unavoidable impediment detracts from what would be a great image? I sure do!

I have recently purchased the Nikor 14-24 lens and love the wide angle shots it produces. I have a question tho. I notice that you did not correct the perspective. I really prefer leaving perspective as the camera saw it. Recently I posted an image "Springfield Symphony Hall" and some viewers suggested perspective should be corrected. Since I'm new to WA I'd appreciate your perspective (pun intended) on the issue.
