Hello, This is my first posting so bare with me.

I am a new Smugmugger! I have been informed that when friends go to view my link and click on Slideshow, the slideshow is blank (black) and does not seem to work. The only people that have complained are VISTA users. So.....I now have a Notebook with VISTA on it...ugh. Yes, I also get the same results. Is anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions.

    Hi Louise! Welcome. We fully support Windows Vista - this is usually a flash issue - do the steps here and let us know how you make out, okay? http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=88954

    Are you saying the problem with fullscreen slideshow opening in a window with Vista is fixed. I have not been able to get the fullscreen slideshow to be fullscreen for months.

    I was thinking the flash slideshow on your homepage and see you don't have one.

    But you can fix your banner by changing the html in your header to this.
    It is hiding behind the big brown theme bar at the top.

    <div id="myHeader">
    Fun2DayPhotos.com
    </div>

    and adding this to your CSS

    #myHeader {
    position: relative;
    z-index:99;
    margin: 10px auto 15px;
    text-align: center;
    font-size: 250%;
    font-family: Comic Sans MS, verdana;
    }

    Dennis, when I go to this gallery of yours and push the slideshow button, I don't get full screen slideshows because your originals are not big enough for my screen. Your originals are 1440x1080 and my screen is larger than that. It displays your originals which is as large as it can go. Could that be the issue you are seeing?

    No the vast majority of my pictures are 1920x1080 and just fit on my 1920x1200 monitor with room for captions.

    I have no problems with my XP computor, but my two Vista computors will show the picture (in Internet Explorer) in a window instead of full screen so they have to be scaled down :(

    This gallery is mostly 1920x1080 sized...

    I'm sorry your computer running Vista shows it differently. This is by design, it's an OS & Browser issue, beyond our control. FF on Vista shows full screen. IE7 does not - it shows full-browser in a new browser window.

    But it used to work just fine!

    I fail to understand how you can even call it a fullscreen slideshow when it isn't on the most common browser in the world.

    Dennis, it works just fine now, too - you see it differently because you're trying to target a specific screen resolution.

    We had to change it (months ago) due to browser & OS issues for many, many customers.

    Come on, it's not a full screen slideshow, it's in a window!

    And I've explained why, and why we changed it.
