Momma Wren!
A pair of Bewicks Wrens have set up home in one of the little wooden bird houses. The two of them constantly hunt and feed the babies all day. Havn't seen a chick yet... but you can sure hear them peeping and begging for food!
Here momma (or is that daddy???) brings home a tasty spider!
There you go AJ!! I posted somethin

Cool shot, what predominant color are these? I've seen some really different birds around here lately, and I'm wondering if they are some type of wren. Quite small. Anyway, I can't wait to see more of your shots!!!

How kewl to have a rookery in your own backyard...lol
If AJ has been pressuring you into posting more pics here, I have to agree with him Love your shots and I dislike having to wade through the muck and tension that's developed "over there" just to see your work
I hope you'll continue to post some of your treats over here, as well, on a regular basis :

Very nice shot indeed. I like the compo.
I am sure you will get the chicks just right when they come around.
Thanks for bringing your work to us instead of us having to go swimin for it "over there":D

Speak with sweet words, for you never know when you may have to eat them....

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
