Excellent lens, Sharp copy, Great price...

I have a 70-300 VR and just love it. However, since I also bought a 70-200 F2.8 VR, I rarely use the 70-300 VR.

This is the lens that was all the rage over on the Nikon Cafe, and a huge thread on it wonders there.

I bought it Aug. 10th, Serial Number: 2278908.

Some feel the need to ask, Is it USA or imported? To be honest, I do not know.

I feel it is a USA version, because there is a five year ESC warranty card
with it, but I do not see a little Gold USA sticker on it anywhere.

Maybe some one smarter than me can look it up on some web page somewhere...???

I have the orginal box, and all orginal packaging as well as the unfilled out warranty
cards. Let me know what other information you would like.

The imported one goes for $444.95 and the USA one goes for $549.95,
used ones are listed there from $379.00.
Which is about what I'm asking, with a little bit more to cover expenses.

In addition, this lens is in near mint condition. I say NEAR, because I
opened it and used it a couple of times.

It does not have any defects, cosmetic or otherwise, and it is complete.
