We had a light snowfall in Liverpool, UK. Not very much (nothing by US/Canadian standards) but it was cold enough for it to stay around a bit.
The following shots are taken just around the corner from my home. The church is All Hallows and the park is Calderstones park.
Have to admit, it's my first real attempt at "snow" shots and I knew I had to work the white balance. Some shots were taken with the cloudy white balance setting and fill flash. Still, there is some over exposure, some images are a little soft and the skies really were this colour (with a touch of blue breaking through in some) but I'm pleased with the results.
Why on earth, I didn't move to the left and recompose this shot at the back of the church I don't know. That big clump of branches is a pain.
My Car (although I really should have re-shot this without the car in )
This shot was taken with my Sigma 105 Macro (as it's the longest range lens I have presently, ironically given that it's meant for close up). The Robin was about 15ft away and the image has been cropped in of course

Didn't realise you were on the Wirral. Not too far away at all.
It was really odd. It seemed like the snow fell in a narrow strip across part of Liverpool. literally a mile wide and that's it. Fortunately, I was just on the edge of that strip
