I hope that this is the right place to post these photos. As I stated earlier, I am very new to photography and have been reading on many concepts and skills over the past few months. Today was the day that I took my new Nikon D300 out for a test drive. It is the first time the camera has ventured out of my house since I purchased it last month.
I attended the Butterfly Conservatory in Niagara Falls Ontario today and took 450 pictures using an 18-200mm f5.6 VR nikon lens.
Well here are the results. I really tried alot of things here and hope that you all like them. Again, I am very new to the game but had so much fun today.
More to come if you like them. Comments and critiques welcomed

I am saving up now for the 105 f2.8 VR nikon micro lens. I took 200 photos of a water drop the other day, attempting to get the best shot. It is amazing how addicting this photography can be.
