Time Stamp not Updating

I tried searching to see if this was posted before but got an error.

I added a gallery to a category it is not updating the time stamp on my home page. What does the time stamp go by to make it update?

Hi and welcome to Dgrin!

If you have your homepage set to "sort by position" instead of "by most recent", you would have to move the gallery that you updated to the top using the 'arrange' button. Only the top gallery is considered when picking the category thumbnail and the 'date updated'.
