My youngest daughter and I went for a ride to New Norcia, which is about 130km north of Perth. You can see the location here if you're interested: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=new+norcia&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=40.545434,93.164063&ie=UTF8&ll=-30.968189,116.213379&spn=2.750547,5.822754&z=8&iwloc=addr
New Norcia is a very interesting place, and full of history - which you can find out about here: http://www.newnorcia.wa.edu.au/
We set out fairly early to avoid the heat (it got up to 34C - 93F - on the way home), and the ride there was very pleasant indeed.
We went to the museum and art gallery (which both hold very impressive collections) - but alas I wasn't allowed to take photos inside. You'll just have to come and visit!
All shots were taken with a Canon G7, and if I can get some time I'll remove the power lines etc.!
Here's one of her outside the museum and art gallery:
And a couple of random shots of her and the bike:
And here are some shots around the town itself:
