New Orleans' Streets for Sugar Bowl 09
I went to the 2009 Sugar Bowl which featured the Utah Utes and the Alabama Crimson Tide. Being a Tide fan, I was disappointed in the game. Utah came to play and the Tide just showed up. Here's some shots from the streets before the game. I used my D700 and 17-35, and 70-300 G. I need to straighten out some of the horizons and couple of other things, but I was happy with the results and I wanted to really test the active d lighting and my 17-35 that I just bought used graded as BGN by KEH. On a sidenote, I was able to get 1/250 ss at ISO 200 for the shot of the inside of the superdome. That thing is lit well!

Being an LSU fan can't really sympathize with the loss. j/k
All joking aside I was let down that SC lost their bowl game...and stunned that Bama got thoroughly whipped as well. I was hoping the SEC would have made a stronger showing.
Looks like it was a wild weekend down there....thanks for sharing!

On game day, it is a photographers dream!
It could be worse. Bama could have had a season like LSU!
I am dissapointed too. Bama let the SEC down.
I hear ya...
LSU woulda had a much better season if they hadn't beat themselves in so many games. Hopefully they will settle in on the better of the 3 QBs and we can have some better luck next year.
I pull for all SEC teams come bowl time!

SEC football is great. I could tolerate having season tickets for just about any team in the SEC, except for Auburn of course. It has been a down year, but UF can make it a memorable one for the SEC.
