    I really like the basic shot and composition. I assume that this is some ice stuck to a branch in a stream.

    My eye is getting drawn to the bright spot in the upper right and that is keeping me from focusing on the ice, which I assume is where you want the viewer to concentrate. Maybe darkening the background slightly might help draw the viewer to the ice.

    I agree - this is a nice shot.

    I would also be inclined to brighten the tree branch an darken the right upper corner to draw your eye to the focal point a bit more.

    I like the composition and texture a lot.
