Last light of year 2008 - French woods

Was looking for something interesting on new year's eve but there was a lot of fog, some ice on the roads (but not enough in the nature to be interesting) and a little snow (very little). In the late afternoon, on my way back to home these bark lines in the fog just caught my eye.




Thanks a lot for looking. Any comment and critique much appreciated (about the shot and/or the processing)

really good job here. You did a good job capturing the mood and the exposure is great. i'm a little distracted by how dark the tree is in the upper left. not sure if you could fix that or if it would even make a difference. probably just my little nit. overall great job

Thanks for looking and commenting ! I'm sorry to answer so late but didn't find anytime to work on the shot before

I've tried a slightly different processing in order to bring up more details in the dark left tree. Don't know if there's much difference with the first version... What do you think ?
