Newbie Upload and Keyword Questions

Hello
Please excuse any repetitions here, I have spent some time perusing the forum but could not find an exact answer to a few issues.

I'm using OSX 10.4.11 with iPhoto 6.0.06

1. I have been testing out Smugmug with the available uploaders and noted the following wrt the management of the Title and Comments from iPhoto

a. MacDaddy - picks up the Title but does not upload any Comments
b.Picture Sync - uploads the Title and Comment from the picture and adds a 2 line Caption under the picture - Nice
c.SmugMugExport from iPhoto - Picks up the Comment but ignores the Title

Is this normal - how are others managing their uploads?

2. Do we have anything like smart albums available? (Perhaps this is the dynamic albums I have seen refered to?)

3. I understood that one of the major benefits of keywords is the ablility to filter using them, but I can't see how one does that in SmugMug for any more than 2 keywords. Is this a feature?

Many thanks for any response.

MacDaddy allows you to choose between the 'title', 'description' or 'title + description'. You can set this in the MacDaddy settings.
Maybe that's the field you're looking for. I don't have the version of iPhoto that you have and in iPhoto 7 I can't find any reference to comment.

On the other tools, you would have to check with the developers.

It's been requested before and at some point in the future we may have this feature.
For now, keywords can help you in this regard. Simply add the same keyword to the photos that you would like top group together and then you will have a virtual keyword gallery.

Sure, just go to a keyword:
    http://rainforest1155.smugmug.com/keyword/dailyphoto
Then use the combine function on top to add other keywords:
    http://rainforest1155.smugmug.com/keyword/dailyphoto-leipzig

You can further narrow it down. If the combine option doesn't show you the keyword you want to add, you can manually add the one you're looking for to the browser url using another dash followed by the keyword:
    http://rainforest1155.smugmug.com/keyword/dailyphoto-leipzig-plant

    Hi Sebastian

Thanks for the warm welcome and the advise. Changing the options on MacDaddy sorted out the issue.
I'll have to wait for smart albums.
    Regards
    Steve
