All right folks, time for the next set. Not much so say about it. Spent Christmas near Florence with my extended family and got a day in Florence itself for some shooting ... Unfortunately, I was lazy and didn't bring my tripod along for the walk, but I think I managed all right nonetheless
Please lots of C&C as usual!
#1 - Tuscan Landscape
#2 - Road through cypress trees
#3 - Duomo di Firenze
#4 - Detail of the Duomo
#5 - Piazza Santa Croce
#6 - Chiesa della Santa Croce
#7 - La Cupola del Duomo in the background
#8 - Can you see the Duomo in the back?
#9 - Birthplace and Home of Dante Alighieri. Yup, THE Dante from Dante's Inferno
#10 - Abstract Lines
#11 - Broken car (or rather, tricycle)
#11 - It snows in Florence, too
Thanks!

I was there in 1970 with my bride on a euro motorcycle trip. Florence had suffered a flood a year or two before and there was a ring around the buildings (30" high). My bride and I are celebrating our 50th in March '09....
Salute!
Ahhh... memories... then there was Venice... then....
I did a series of shots on films and wish to visit again.
Your images are very nicely captured.
