Action won't run in CS3 -help?

Never mind - figured it out (answer is you don't run it from the main folder but from the individual commands)
I'm wanting to try out a PS action but I can't get it to run - I donwloaded it, load it into actions (where it shows up, along with all its directions), it seems fine and then when I go to press the arrow to "play" it, I get a black circle/slash and can't do anything at all.
This is my first time using PS actions - what am I doing wrong?!

ETA: In fact, I can't get ANY actions to run, not even the preloaded ones. :scratch. Help?
