    Intel Macs only! :-(
Picassa will NOT work on my PPC machines. So no Picassa for Dee.

Not sure why I need it, I'm sure everyone will enlighten me though.

Picasa is a really nice Photobrowser really. It does not replace PS or LR but it works great for browsing through folders of images, for quick enhancement of jpg files (raw too). It is very useful for keeping an overview of exported images for example. Tools like Zoombrowser are not as easy and fast to use.

Also, Picasa has a nice uploading tool for smugmug for those who only have CS4 and Bridge.

Agreed. I have CS3 and LR, but still find Picasa easiest to use for navigation, finding stuff, browsing and ueberquick down and dirty edits (eg cropping). It's stable, doesn't use nearly as much memory as the Adobe products and it's FREE. The SM uploading plugin is also nice and keeps everything integrated for me. I'm a fan :)
