How to log in as visitor and stay as visitor?

If i've been working on my site, I can go to 'visitor view' and see mostly what the thing looks like to an outsider. That is, until i click the 'Buy' button, and then it shows every variation and size and the cost prices.
If i log out, and enter the site, I can surf to my nav button choices, but as soon as I try to drill down to a particular picture, it seems that SmugMug recognizes my IP address and then I'm in 'Owner view' again.
I had to resort to logging in on my laptop to be able to see my site as a customer might. (I was showing a holiday guest the site, them looking over my shoulder, and all of a sudden it went to owner view, and since they were a potential customer, they got a peek at the cost prices, which was not a good thing).
Do I need to clear a cache, delete a cookie, what?

It seems that smugmug knows when you are using the same window.

Visitor view is ok for a quick check, but you really should look in a logged out browser.
For example, I often work in Firefox logged in, and in IE7 logged out.

In the preview browsers, smugmug cookies have been wiped and I haven't logged in. That's one reason I don't bother with visitor view in my working browser - I always wonder if my view is distorted by having been logged in and setting view preferences, plus my working browser itself is customized. Seems more reliable to preview in "virgin" browsers.
Use a 2nd browser, it's easy. If you like IE, use FF as #2. If you like FF, use Flock or Safari as #2.

Yeah, I didn't mean "log in" as a visitor...I just mean "visit"
And the "alternate browser" is a great solution.
Thanks, all
