An indication you've been cooped up inside too long on a rainy day:

Very cool. But maybe this will be helpful. My eye went immediately to the tomato with the X on the right side. From there I moved around to figure out what was going on. I think that the light, contrast, sharpness and/or some combination of the above are all dead on for the X tomato. Or it could be that I wasn't aware of the fact that I followed the eyes of the middle tomato to the X tomato. None of this would be a problem but for the fact that the X on that tomato is something of an enigma at first. You first have to look all around and figure out it must be an eye. You can't see the rest of the face. I would suggest that you either switch out the X tomato for one that has a recognizable face, or you position it so that we can immediately see that the X is part of a face painted on it. Does that make sense?

You should do a series. Add a knife, show a tomato sliced up,etc.

Oh heck wow, that's the quickest response I've ever had to a photo I've posted here. I should stay cooped up more often! :giggle

Thanks for all the nice comments, y'all!

Jeff, thanks for the feedback. What you said makes perfect sense to me, and I can see it now that you've mentioned it. I may toy with this a li'l more. thumb.gif

April, I love the idea! Though I think I may be dangerous enough without adding knives into the mix... :D

Ok, WHAT was that earlier comment about having no ideas???!?!!!????

    Hilarious!

I think you should do a reshoot with a bunch of celery holding a knife (or perhaps deeply pointy carrot) hovering over them, casting a big ole shadow of doom. You can use the ones with the most worried expressions and reset them.....

Vegetables gone wild!!! :D:D:D:D (I love this, in case you can't tell!)

    Fun picture :D
Part of me wants to see a version with the surrounding tomatoes all behind the middle one. Because this reminds me of 'Poor Pluto'.
