My very best...
These are a few of my best work and are featured in my portfolio.
All were shot with the 40D, Av mode, Ai Servo, center AF point, center metered with either the 135mm f/2L wide open or 200 f/2.8L wide open.
I don't post much here but do read the advice given in the threads and try to apply the knowledge gained from you talented sports shooters.
CC is always appreciated.
1. I was luckier than this 2nd baseman with this snow-coner. I got the shot, he dropped the ball.
2. Any one remember John Riggins? This kids nickname is "Freighttrain"
3. How about Mike Singletary? The bulging eyes of a MLB.
4. I shot a full season of night football games. All of my best shots, including these three were shot during the same weekend. Day games finally!!
5. Probably the hardest shot in baseball IMHO is to capture a fielder making a play on a batted ball. This one is the first of three shots of a centerfielder catching this liner.
This isn't dust on your monitor, the specks against the blue wall are rain drops.
6. Basketball in our gym has been brutal, making it painfully obvious how little I know about photography. These two are a couple I am proud of.
7.
The rest can be viewed in my portfolio here- http://zack75144.smugmug.com/gallery/6825593_LbNu7/1/436304801_gyPWU
Any suggestions for improvement are welcomed.
