Snowy places

Hi!

I spent wonderful four days at a mountain over the New Year's and did some skiing and shooting. It was cold and sooo beautiful! And now for the fun part: :wink could you do me a favor and tell me which one of the following you like the most? I'm trying to pick one for the DSS challenge. :dunno

These are superb! I'm not sure I can pick one but I think #1 and #4 are best. The sky in #1 is so dramatic. And #4 is almost monochromatic white on white but with lots of texture--I think it's very nice.

In the first one the sky looks great( it's like painted).
The last one it's interesting too .

Ana,

Love the series but I particularly like #3 and #4. Number 3 has the great sky with the red light spilling across the snow. Number 4 has the light and cold feeling. I wonder is a little boost to contrast in the foreground would help bring out some of the snow details.

Agreed! #4 and #3 is a close second. I just love the soft, pinkish light that just goes so well with the blueness of the snow. Even though I'm sure it was very cold, such beautiful winter scenes always make me feel warm inside.
