Road Trip to Central West, NSW

I have just got back from a road trip to the central west and riverina of nsw, australia. I am just starting to process the pics and here is the best of a bad bunch from the first day at the Belubula River near Cowra.

    Well you do not always have to have frame fillers to have a good picture. The inclusion of the environment gives a good idea of what sort of habitat the birds like although that parrot just doesn't look right where he is, but that is just me stereotyping parrots. It looks like a farmer's field as if it were a crow or something. I guess I always expect them to be in a some tropical environment. I know even from experience that this is not the case, but...:D

    The reed warbler though is my favorite. Nice composition in that one.

    the parrots hung around the edges of the roads a lot.
    You drive along and they are flying off all over the place. You see them more on the roads than in the bush. ne_nau.gif
