We celebrated 60 years of Victory day in the World War II some days ago and 15 of May was a day for photo competition here (I took part)... The 6-day after the Victory day... How our country lives, our people... and so on...
I met this man at 8 in the morning, He's 82!
He agreed to participate in photo competition :-)
So, this is our contribution:
I took this photo in the arc - it was very sunny...
Spasibo,
Yuri

Woow what a beautiful picture! I love the colors, the brightness, sharpness and background of this picture.
What are his decorations? Is that a uniform he is wearing?

...and a portrait to be proud of.
This makes me want to stick out my hand, introduce myself then listen and learn. The stories in his face and proud display of his ribbons draw me in.
Thanks for sharing!

Looks like the 828 is working well
Photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again.

As everyone said, you have captured a photo that seems to exude the character of the individual. On par with all your quality photos.
You captured his essence, right down to his upturned eyebrow
