Due to very cold weather, I've continued editing my old shots from 2007 - here's some more finds rescued from the scrap heap.
I've changed by work flow now so I try to edit all the shots the same day (saves disc space).

Simply amazing as always. I know that sounds familiar Brian, and I know I've typed that response to your work countless dozens of times over the course of the past few years, but I just want to be sure you do know how awesome these shots truly are.

The smoothness of the out of focus area in the second picture is incredible. All of these are terrific. What is the thing in the last 2 pics that the dew is on?

love the fushia refractions, tried just before frost came but could nt get a good image, think flower variety was too long& thin.

Thanks for the kind comments everybody :)

Christian the last two are on the wind veins of a seed of what I think is Valerianaceae - a common almost weed like flower that attracts lots of bugs.

Phil - the flower refractions are a lot easier with almost 2-D flowers (like my favourite primroses) although chrysanthemums work well as well.
