Folks,

I know this link was previously provided in the "big" 5D MKII thread, but I want to leave this one here as well, to make it as visible as possible for new members and guests.

It addresses 2 common issues regarding the Canon 5D MKII.

The updated versions show up on the site when I go to download it

Just installed 1.0.7 on my 5D Mark II and no incidents here. Didn't install the software updates though as my main photo editing computer is still off in repair land getting it's dvd drive repaired.

Now if they could add a shutter speed limit to their Auto ISO in firmware I'd be much obliged!

Hi guys and gals. I'm another refugee from ADVrider (Hammock Dweller on there). Thanks for the link, I updated my firmware last night. I was getting black dots on highlights such as water droplets and catchlights in the eyes under daylight conditions. Visible at 100%. Hopefully this is now rectified.
