~Mystical Valley of Winter

My very first trip to Yosemite, I came up with a buddy via the Fish Camp/Wawona road into Yosemite and we were greeted with heavy snow & fog almost the entire drive.
Once we reached the Tunnel View, I glanced my very first ever view at that mammoth granite El Cap & the beautiful valley. This was what I saw that fine day as the clouds broke just long enough to peek what was to come... Needless to say, I was awestruck.
Thanks for looking :thumb

I don't know what to say. This is a fantastic execution of a well-photographed spot. "Mysical" is right on the mark

Here's the big secret though... this image was sitting on my computer for just under TWO years! Sometimes the jewel in the rough is the one you least look for
When I spotted this one, I knew right away that it screamed out black and white goodness. Even if it took 4 hours of work to bring it to the vision I had for it.

Amazing... amazing... amazing!!
I was in Yosemite for the first time this past September, and I agree completely! It's a truly humbling site! Awesome job capturing the beauty! The 4 hours spent converting it were well worth it!
