interesting texture and shape. Its like I almost can see bullwinkle the moose with a few warts added.:D Makes ya kinda stare! As for the photo itself...I like the black and white treatment and the contrasts.

or some kinds of mud/laver formation, except that you can see the prickles.
Shooting it in B&W has worked really well for this picture.
