A few of my Nephew on Christmas Day

My new focus is to learn how to take better photographs of people. I'm posting these shots of my nephew to serve as a base line of where I am today. I'd love it if you guys could provide some C&C.

I took these with only ambient light as I did not own a flash at the time (I do as of 2-days ago thoough:thumb). I used my Sigma 30mm f/1.4 lens.

    I'm not so good yet with commenting on lighting, but I like how the light is hitting the right side of his face in the first two. :)

    What did you do to make him cry in the second?! haha ;)

    I like how you've really gotten down to his level in #1 and #3.
