These are a few shots taken at a Nature Center in my town. They have a photographer day, and for a donation you can get shots of the birds out of the enclosures.

Your gallery must have external links turned on; then turn on the gallery's "easy sharing" at least long enough to grab the URL when viewing the photo(s) (a new "Share" link will appear next to Tools above your photos in the gallery). That is the URL you put in after clicking on the "Insert Image" link here while typing a post.

Glad to have helped. We're over near the Detroit Zoo.

That's a quite beautiful owl. Were these taken at the Howell Nature Center?

And what in the world is that hawk eating?!?! It's a little late for small fawns. eek7.gif

Yes these shots were taken at the Howell Nature Center. It was a photography/fundraiser event put on by the center and Skip Moody. You can catch some of his work in "Birds & Blooms", from time to time. The deer was picked up by one of the photogs on the way to the event. He thought it might make a good prop/perch, so we went with it. These images were taken in Feb. of 2008. I looked at both of your sites, very nice. It must be nice after working with computers and such, to work with the wild life. Kind of theraputic, I would think. Very rewarding to get these creatures back to the wild, if it is possible.
