DSS 16. I have a previous post, but new pics new post.

I merged all the suggestions I got and came up with a few ideas, sunday night is the deadline. Attack these pictures with your best!

I have all my workflows saved and a few mid work psd's. I can change any of it. Please give me your opinions.

I would say citrus delight. The b/w, #3 is fine, but the background is confusing. I'm not quite getting the rose connection.

WOuld it be better with another background? #3 I mean.

My vote is for Blue wind. I think it matches the look, posture and overall feel of the image....JMHO. Nicely processed.

I like the B&W (#3) but maybe with a plainer background??

Blue wind will need finer pp on his face, I like them all, so I just can't decide.

Any ideas on the #3 background? Maybe some pale roses? O r stars?

My vote is for 3 first and then 5. I think 3 is a striking BW portrait with a nice background. I also like 3 because it gives you a little mystery to unravel...whatever that may be...each to his own. Not all photographs need be straight forward, especially photographic art.

I asked my wife, also a photographer, what she thought, since we're sitting here watching TV together, and she says...since women are quite often more visually perceptive...that he looks too happy to have Mother Mary in the background. Why is she there, and what does it mean to the man in the picture?

My wife says that Blue Wind is her favorite. So, there you have it...two opinions. Well, the banana nut bread is fresh out of the oven...time for a slice and a cup of decafe...


And I like the rain effect in 5. I think the photo works well as a whole.

I need to find a happy female portrait then for #3 and come back with the improvement... I had the same thought, he looked too happy and she so sad.
