SUGGESTION: A MeetUp Forum

This may have been discussed before, but I don't recall seeing it anyplace. I'd like to see a separate thread for meetups, maybe as a subforum to the Location forum. I occasionally see meetups posted in the Location forum, but it is pretty rare from what I've seen. If there was a separate forum, I'd visit more often, either looking for info or to post meetups myself. For instance, I have recently noticed several DGrinners from my town or at least near the vicinity. Rather than contacting people individually, or posting a thread and hoping people will find it, I'd like to see a forum where we could go and find out about or schedule meetups in our area. Similarly, when I am going someplace to visit, I'd like to check for possible meetups while I'm there.

To me, there is a difference between posting info about good shooting locations v. posting about a specific meetup event.

Thanks for considering it--
Lauren

Yep, like that . . . but the two I just glanced at don't seem like they've had too much recent activity. Maybe a reminder/notice someplace would be a good idea. Or maybe it's just me . . . headscratch.gif

I've subscribed to the threads of my region, so I'll be watchin' for some meetups!

    Thanks, Andy!

Um, well, the activity comes from the community. Feel free to bump the thread(s) :D
