That is a wonderful portrait! Did you do any Photoshopping on it? Just curious since the color of his eyes and cheeks is spot on perfect.

    Welcome to dgrin! clap.gifclap

This is a wonderful portrait that will be treasured as a "moment in time".

Beautiful light, nice catchlights and those missing teeth are just priceless. In a perfect world a little more "airspace" at the top might have been nice, but if there was no room for that, it's a tiny niggle -it works beautifully as it is. thumb.gif

I agree with divamum that a bit more of the top would have been nice, but it's really nice as is too :) Such gorgeous eyes!! And I too love the missing tooth. Laughing.gif

thanks for all your kind comments. the only thing I did on this was the tiniest bit of colour adjustment on the eyes - probably around 5% of added blue. Then I simply sharpened using iPhoto to 100% - that's it. I was just fortunate to capture him and his sister (which I will post as a new thread).

the light was nice, sun was low in the sky so I put them out of direct on the face light.

    thanks all

Great eyes but would love to have seen more of the top of his head.
Is this the only shot you got of him?
