Here's my rough bottom line (just got the final numbers):
- dead alternator and battery - $1,000
- car break-in (smashed rear quarter window and broken tonneau cover) - $900
- windshield cracked by the stone on the way back - $400
- the meet-and-shoot - PRICELESS! :clap

---
So I think I'm still "in the black":-)
Thanks again everybody!
Hope to see some of you in Pinnacles!

OMG, Nikolai, that's a huge bill! I am so sorry it nailed your wallet so badly.

You can't imagine how glad I was when I pull over to Wawona and saw Sid and Michiel (my SF shooting buddies:-) in the lobby.. It was like "omg, it's finally over, I made it home free".clap.gif
As I said - balance is positive. Next time I simply won't park my beloved MURRANO in Belmont's dark alleys, pay attention to the weird lights on its dashboard and won't follow the trucks too closely on the narrow mountain roads:D
    Cheers, mate!
