Anyone have any dealings with this lens? I'm thinking about picking one up for a macro lens.

What are you wanting to shoot with this lens?
It depends on what you want to do with a macro lens.
The Mpe 65 is a very good lens. But it's on the extream side of macro.
If you want to get every living hair on a but it will do great. But you must be really close to use this lens.
If your wanting a general pourpose lens than you mite want to take a look at the 100 or the 180 macros from sigma and canon or the new sigma 150 2.8 is getting outstanding reviews.
Look at this site he gives some good quick information.
