Old Door

The picture was taken in New Mexico. I added grain and tried to make the picture look old.

    Very surreal! Kind of makes me want to explore beyond the door to see what other world is there. thumb.gif

    I like the colour, composition, and subject matter. But, overall I don't like the image because it seems overly soft to me and for some reason that is really bothering me. Also, the diagonal beam on the right side is distracting me too. Other than those two things it's a fine image. I also understand that it might be soft in attempt to emulate an older photo, but like I said the softness is too much for me. Maybe a little more sharpening?

    You could always photoshop a few in, it possibly couldn't look any worse than the bullet hole stickers I've seen on people's cars and trucks.
