Hockey Images
Here are some images from a game I did recently.
ISO 1250, 1/500s f2.0 Olympus E-3.
May have to buy the 35-100mm lens I rented!

And this photo that you posted is best in therms of exposure, WB and composition Did you do any post processing?
For the other two photos, I would like to see a tighter crop.
no noise reduction, etc.
I plan on cropping the shots.
This was my first time ever trying this lens.
Hockey is hard to photograph....I rather be a goalie again facing a slapshot then battle WB, etc.

And hockey photography is not known to be easy. And WB, etc. isn't that difficult once you figure it out. I wrote my thoughts on hockey in this thread.
As as a goalie, you wouldn't have to worry about facing anything from me. I got four breakways last game, but flubbed all of them and the goalie knew that I couldn't shoot and told me so afterward (with a smile).
You got a couple nice shots here. I too shoot hockey and agree it is one of the hardest sports to photograph, but you did well.
Below is a link to another one of my sites. After the games I shoot, I upload the photos and sell to whoever is interested. The clarity isn't that good because of the amount of photos put on the site, but buyers get the idea.

My SmugMug site has my favorite shots that I took, and they are in good viewing condition.
