You keep getting better with age.

Less contrast more diffusion and better bokeh clap.gif

Ric, If you keep it up you are going to create an awful lot of work for yourself going back and reprocessing all your shots..rolleyes1.gif I like the frame.

    Hi Ric
I guess I'm just a contrarian. I saw that first image in an earlier post of yours some time back. At that time I opined that it was the best green heron capture I'd ever seen. I haven't changed my mind. I just love the detail in the cross hatched wing feathers which is somewhat lost in #2. It also helps that I much prefer high contrast images.

Where age equals time...I'd agree. :D If I had the time when I was younger...I think I may have done better sooner. Better vision...more brain cells...etc...OH! forget what I just said...I forgot about the opposite sex factor consuming my thoughts and thus my time!!!mwink.gif

    Thanks, Dan.

    rolleyes1.gif Well 18 months ago...so was I!rolleyes1.gif

What I have come to appreciate is the ability to capture something that closing resembles what I saw instead of just something that looks pretty. Nothing wrong with either way...just a matter of opinion and choice.

    I'm sure I thanked you then...and I thank you now, Jack.:D

Interesting as I also now prefer less contrast at times. Nice job Ric!

More like reality I think, Mike.

    Thanks. :D

rolleyes1.gifNot really, Chris...I don't have that many excellent shots...and that is all I would bother with.

    Thanks.:D
