[FONT=georgia,palatino]Well, a Lesser Goldfinch that is! I went out to the backyard yesterday and took some photos for my latest blog "DIY Photography Blind". Within 5 minutes this guy appeared...my first photo of a Lesser Goldfinch.[/FONT]

Congrats. The lesser goldfinch can only be found in the the southern parts of Texas. I found my first one this summer. Ours usually have a darker back than other lessers. They are sometimes called the Texas Canary because the chest plumage gets so yellow. Nice image with strong eye contact.
