Can you display "Save Photo", but not view "Original"

Is there any way to set up a gallery to disallow the viewing of the high-resolution image, but to enable the Save option. My motivation here is purely one of saving user confusion and saving both my account and smugmug some bandwidth usage. I've found that for any 6-8 MegaPixel image, there's really no point in viewing the Original image on your computer. It's just too massive to really see anything. So, I'd like to not let my users waste our bandwidth by viewing it and I'd like them not to get confused by it. But, I'd like to allow them to download it to their own PC via the Save Photo link.
I know I can disable access to the original in it's entirety, but I think that removes both the original and the Save Photo link. Is there a way to just remove the original link, but not the Save Photo link.
