Goldfinches Galore

This year in my yard has been a banner year for goldfinches after three years of trying to attract them. I knew they were in my area and they are quite common, but I could not get them to come to my yard, but that changed this year after moving my feeders further back on my lot plus I added more feeders so that the birds just do not hog one or two feeders. Did it make a difference? I am not sure, but the goldies are here finally.

Thanks Ric. Once they get used to you, they will allow a pretty close approach too.

Great set Stephen. I get lots of these as well, mostly drinking from my fountain. Really good focus and exposure on these clap.gif

Great series, Stephen! We get a handful in our yard each year, along with a Lesser pair or two most years. Beautiful birds! What did you shoot these with?
