Some bugs about now it's warmed up a bit.

Whoops - mating window gnats - result of panic on seeing me



Felt obliged to right them, and they carried on as if nothing had happened.



Suprised to find this spider on the outside of my greenhouse

I assume that all of them were done with MP-65

Great pictures, where do you find all these bugs?

You must be on your knees hole time searching for them.

Not that bad- after 3 years shooting in my garden, I tend to know where to find them but do get suprises every now and then

I saw a small wolf spider in the kitchen a couple of nights ago, nothing else buggy at all in the North West.

Thanks- glad you like them

Springtails are in the group collembola which some people think should be separated from insects. They have a couple of unique features- obviously the springtail but more importantly a water balance organ called the collophore which no other insect has.
