Pics uploaded out of order??

Hi,
I've been using Smugmug for years and never had a problem uploading pics. Today I uploaded pics from a recent vacation and they came up in the gallery all out of order and mixed up. I tried various uploaders. Why did they show up out of order?

    Answering my own question...
    In another thread I found out about the auto sort in Customize gallery. I've not had to bother with that until now.

    Although I have all my auto sort settings to none and sort direction ascending, when I upload (in order), the pics in smugmug are not in ascending order.

    Is there a solution?

    If you have auto-sort in the gallery settings at "none" where do you have the sort direction set as ascending? If you don't have auto-sort set the pictures will display in the order they are processed by Smug's servers which may or may not happen in the order you uploaded them.
